On September 5, the 7th 3TREES Xuanzang‑trail Leadership Practice Camp (G7) officially opened in Guazhou, Gansu Province. More than one hundred 3TREES participants gathered in the Gobi. Upholding the belief of “Go Green in the Gobi, Stand Firm Between Heaven and Earth”, they embarked on the challenging Gobi hiking journey with the first‑day route covering 29 kilometers.

At the assembly ceremony, Hong Shengyuan, Vice President of 3TREES and leader of G7, delivered a speech as a veteran Gobi trekker. He noted that the Gobi journey serves as real‑world leadership training, pushing all participants to break through their limits and stay true to their original aspiration amid extreme challenges. A solemn flag‑presenting ceremony followed. Team captains received the mission flags, and all participants took a powerful oath, igniting their passion to forge ahead and overcome difficulties.

On the morning of departure, 3TREES launched the Gobi Spring Public‑welfare Forest initiative. Trekker participants tended to poplar trees and hung adoption plaques, bringing patches of green to the vast Gobi and fulfilling the brand’s social responsibility. With rousing battle cries, the team set off, trekking across complex landforms including Gobi deserts, hills and riverbeds.

Strong winds and high temperatures on‑site severely tested participants’ stamina and willpower. The spirit of teamwork shone throughout the journey. Zhang Lianzhou suffered from heat‑stroke and repeated vomiting yet finished the hike with teammates’ company and encouragement. Supported by fellow participants, Zhang Wumin overcame physical strain and pushed past his limits.

All team members completed the 29‑kilometer first‑day hike without dropping out. Seven editions of the Gobi journey represent persistence and inheritance of 3TREES. Forged by wind and sand and united through shared progress, this expedition tempers the team’s perseverance and embeds the brand spirit of “Renew for a New Start, March Forward Side by Side” deep into the corporate DNA.
